I need a new battery for my Nissan Altima and I have decided to go with Amaron after hearing good things from friends. The problem is I have no idea which model or size to choose. There seem to be so many options with different numbers on them and I do not want to buy the wrong one. Some are labelled by group size, others by CCA, and a few just say things like Flo or Hi Life which honestly means nothing to me. I came across some exclusive Amaron car battery buying advice for Sharjah drivers which was helpful but I would rather hear from people who have actually bought one and gone through this same confusion. How do I know which battery fits my car without taking the old one out first? Is the information written somewhere on the current battery or do I need to check the manual? I had a quick look under the bonnet and there is a sticker with some numbers but I am not sure which one is the group size and which is just a part number. Also does the capacity matter a lot in this heat because I run the AC constantly and I do not want something that struggles when I am stuck in traffic. Another thing that worries me is whether a bigger battery would fit in the tray without modification and if it puts extra strain on the alternator. I do not want to end up with a battery that is too small and fails early or too big and causes other problems. The warranty also confuses me because different shops seem to offer different lengths depending on the model and I do not want to be caught out later. Should I be asking for a specific series if I want the longest coverage or is it more about the shop than the battery itself? And is there any real difference between the ranges or is it mostly marketing talk? I would really appreciate any practical tips from someone who has been through this before because I want to get it right the first time and not waste money on the wrong unit.
